A Gentle Spring Journaling Prompt
Have you ever found yourself rooting for your child to figure something out… even knowing how uncertain the timing can be?
You watch them try again and again, learning how to move, crawl, and try to walk.
And somewhere in that, you’re holding hope with care… not control.
Parenting has a way of keeping you on your toes.
There’s no real way to predict how your tiny creation will respond, what they’ll understand, or how they’ll grow into things.
So you support them the best way you can.
Not by controlling the outcome, but by showing up, encouraging, and quietly rooting for them along the way.
Because that’s what rooting really is.
It’s care without certainty.
It’s hope without a timeline.
And just like parenting… there is no clear plan for the things we’re holding hope for in our own lives either.
They unfold in their own way, in their own time.
✨ A little journaling inspiration for you:
What is something you’re nurturing right now… or quietly rooting for?
You don’t need to have it figured out.
You don’t need to know how it will turn out.
Just write about it. Hold it. Let it be something you care about.
Because rooting for something is, in itself, an act of care.
From my road to yours, happy wandering.
