I’m a Texas-born, New York-living, coffee-sippin’ storyteller, maker, and mama who’s always chasing the next spark of inspiration. Whether it’s through crafting, writing, or just soaking in the quiet moments between the chaos, creativity is my compass — and this journal is where I let it lead.
From Creations to the Journal
Before there was a Journal, there were Creations.
In 2021, I launched Creations by Natasha — a small business where I handcrafted resin pieces, each one a little labor of love. Those early days taught me the joy of working with different mediums and the power of creating something that carried heart.
By 2023, I needed to find a new path. Resin crafting was beautiful but tough — the process required more space and ventilation than I could manage with a little one at home. So I shifted into personalized sublimation products, and with that change came a new name: Wandering Texan Creations. The name reflected both my Texas roots and my wandering spirit, while the products carried the same love and creativity as my resin pieces.
But life, as it tends to do, rerouted me. Between health struggles, maternity leave, and a tough season in business (including one mega sale that didn’t quite pan out), I knew it was time to pause the shop.
Still, the spirit of Creations never left. The heart of those businesses — creativity, storytelling, connection, and love — became the foundation for what you’re reading now.
Why This Journal Exists
The Wandering Texan Journal is my map, compass, and mile markers for this season of life. I frame life as a journey — full of detours, scenic overlooks, and the occasional pothole — and this blog is where I share the lessons, laughter, and creativity I find along the way.
Here, you’ll find reflections on motherhood, sparks of creativity, and honest stories of resilience and intentional living. It’s not about the destination — it’s about the journey itself, and the ways we grow, stumble, and wander together.

A Glimpse Behind the Scenes
When I’m not writing or wrangling ideas, I’m chasing my little ones, laughing with my husband, and occasionally finishing a cup of coffee before it goes cold.
While the Creations shop is on pause, its heart lives on in this Journal — because creating (in all its forms) is still at the center of everything I do. One day, I plan to bring the shop back with a fresh sense of direction. Until then, the Journal is where my words wander, and where community, creativity, and connection come first.
