Your Daily Soul Stop

Your Daily Soul Stop

Earlier this week, I talked about finding those Rest Stops for the Soul — those little moments that remind us to slow down and breathe. But sometimes, even knowing we need a pause doesn’t mean we actually take one. Most nights, I collapse into bed completely exhausted.

So, I had an idea — what if I tried a tiny pause each day, just a few minutes, to check in with myself? That’s why I created a simple daily check-in sheet — just three quick prompts to help me (and maybe you, too) pause for a few mindful minutes. It’s not about adding another task to your list; it’s about making space for you.

I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m curious if it might give me a mini rest stop — a small reset before the day ends. It takes less than five minutes to jot down my mood, something I’m grateful for, and one small intention for tomorrow. Giving myself a quiet moment that says, “Hey, you did enough today.”

For anyone juggling a million things (hello, fellow busy moms!), this could be an easy mom life hack for a small but meaningful daily reset — nothing fancy, just five quiet minutes for you.

A Moment Just for You
Life doesn’t slow down—but you can. Use this Simple Daily Check-In Sheet to pause, check in with yourself, and show a little self-care today.

Your turn: What’s your go-to reset button? Share in the comments — and if you missed it, check out this week’s post, Rest Stops for the Soul, for more inspiration to slow down and savor the small moments.

From my road to yours, happy wandering.
